At the touch of a button packers can select from 15 formulations the best bag size and foam combination for their protective packaging and void fill needs. The custom cushioning system delivers up to 21 cushions per minute, offering foam-filled bags or continuous foam tubes.

This versatile Sealed Air machine offers numerous cushion combinations, including continuous foam tubes (CFTs), which are easily selected from the industrial-grade touch screen display which has 2 panels. The quick select button panel stores commonly used pre-determined cushion sizes. The enhanced control panel allows a greater range of flexibility. Packers can also easily programme sequences of bags and/or CFTs.
The Speedy Packer is robustly built and surprisingly compact, saving on valuable floor space.
A drop-in-and-load cradle makes it easy to load and align new rolls of film which is available in widths of 30.48cm (12ins) and 48.26cm (19ins).
The foam packaging is produced at the rate of 21 bags per minute (film size 30.48cm/12ins), each one being 50% foam-filled. Packers place the bag in the box for shipping or storage, then nestle the product into the expanding cushioning which wraps itself perfectly around to produce a custom fit. A second bag can be placed on top, then the box flaps closed to allow the formation of a top layer of protection that also fits perfectly.
Continuous foam tubes are useful for forming a general protective base on the bottom of cartons. A cushioning bag can be placed on top of the product/s, or additional CFTs can be added for corner and edge protection. Packers can select the size of tubes and length of chain required, either on demand or as a batch for later use or other packing stations.
